1994 | After enrolling in the Department of Architecture at Kansai University’s Faculty of Engineering, he joined Suzuki Komuten Co., Ltd. in Kyoto, a company specializing in sukiya-style architecture, upon graduation. There, he was involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including design, cost estimation, and site supervision. He learned the construction methods and philosophies of Kyoto's sukiya architecture directly from the company president and senior craftsmen. |
2000 | After leaving the company, he established Sato Urban Environmental Design. |
2009 | Later, the firm was renamed Cochi Wooden Architecture. |
2016 | The office was relocated to Gose City, Nara Prefecture, where it continues its work today. |
